Leading objectives
Delmenhorst is a medium-sized town between Bremen and Oldenburg. Therefore BBS1 Delmenhorst also provide
educational opportunities for the surrounding area. Our vocational school is located in a town, whose
inhabitants formerly worked predominantly in industry and today are mostly employed in services.
We provide education in business and administration as well as in health services and prepare the students
for their careers in these professions and also for future academic objectives.
Due to the systems of modern communications we focus on the development of computing.
We are reliable for our students and their parents, for the firms training our apprentices,
school authorities and other partners.
At our school we convey knowledge and values. We treat each other politely and offer
a positive and motivating working climate, in which teaching and learning is fun.
We are open and honest, constructive and trustful and support processes of integration.
We attend to our mutual assignments independently and responsibly.
We want our students to seize their chances for education and employment and to
regard themselves as a part of our society.
Economic and social developments require openness to life-long learning.
In an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect we provide a basis for confidence.
We improve the ability to be critical and self-confident by honest treatment of each other.
It is our intention that the students are able to comprehend knowledge on their own
and independently find possible solutions.
